All of western Switzerland will be covered by a mass of humid air bringing wind and rain.

Not a lot to say about saturday, rain and wind was finaly there, and the snow was present above 2000m

This weekend, Switzerland will remain under the influence of a weak and relatively inactive moist air mass.

Autumn is already here, but the conditions forecast for this weekend still have a distinctly summer feel. Sunshine should dominate across western Switzerland, while dry air and unusually warm temperatures for the season are expected to create excellent opportunities for autumn cross-country flying. 

Saturday was the day not to be missed.

As forecast, the classic 100 km route from Fiesch was achievable on saturday, provided pilots paid attention to the Grimsel "snake", with a possible but potentially challenging extension into the Saas Valley.

Debriefing of the week end :Saturday, as predicted, the best option was to flight from the Salève for the classic "balcon du Léman" flight.We have a 93 km on a straight line from Gilles Wachsmuth :And a 90 km triangle from Paola Aroldi Sunday, the wind was finaly not too strong for upper wallis. the para delta club stockorn made an outing in fiesch, resulting with more the 10 flight over 100 km flying eats with the wind.Once more, the best flight goes to Philipp Aeschbar
